NISI Camping


Nisi is a fresh Glamping site / Multi-use Venue / Educational Center in Central Greece having
sports, cultural and social events, playground and accommodation possibilities, in a fantastic environment by the sea.


The space is dedicated to the free space of expression of adults and kids, where daily events and educational programs, children’s entertainment, open-air cinema and documentaries, theme nights, environmental events, sports events, but also events like team building, reunions, children’s parties and baptisms are organized.

NISI is an accessible space to everyone who wants to connect with nature (as it is surrounded by olive trees next to the sea) and be an active citizen by participating in events and activities related to the environment, sports, education, and culture.

NISI hosts various seminars and activities for free
that are open to the guests of the camping, the local community, and volunteers through Erasmus+ programs that they collaborate with.

NISI provides accommodation
in Bell Tents, Eco Houses, Treehouse, Bungalows, and Wooden cabins, as well as food & beverage, experiences inside and outside of NISI. The tents are made out of canvas and natural materials.
NISI Camping also has its own Café.

It was built by the team using upcycling material and it is an educational centre where many upcycling workshops educating kids and adults are hosted. 


It is also a resource centre where people from the community can bring material and reuse them. 

With all the upcycle projects, a lot of scrap materials were saved from waste, and resources have been saved instead of buying new products.
Impact
Economic impact
The projects that Nisi used material for construction had a significant part of financial savings, we can estimate about 4.000 euro.

Social impact
The social impact is consisting of educating and raising awareness to more than 5.000 people physically and many more digitally every year regarding the circular economy projects.

Environmental impact
With all the upcycling projects they have saved a lot of scrap materials from waste but also they have saved resources instead of buying new products.

In order to make these projects possible we have used the knowledge of passionate people and Erasmus+ volunteers who have spent their time voluntarily to make these projects possible.
